Although Dioselin Ruiz is now a Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager (RGM), she didn’t start as one. In fact, Dioselin was hired at the Westchester, II Taco Bell four years ago as a Food Service Champion. In just a few short months, the mom of three was promoted to Shift Leader — and then a few short months after that, she became an Assistant General Manager (AGM).
After two years of training as an AGM, Dioselin became the RGM of our Westchester, IL Taco Bell — a position she still holds today.
“It’s really cool to run a [restaurant],” she shares, “I never thought that I could do it.”
A TOTAL TEAM EFFORT
“You’ll have someone backing you up all the time. If you need anything, they’re there for you.”
Dioselin Ruiz, RGM
While it’s abundantly clear that Dioselin is grateful for all of the opportunities she’s received at Shamrock, she’s most complimentary of the support she’s received from her team. Her colleagues’ open communication, transparency and understanding are values Dioselin gushes over, and she shares that the support she receives is what helps her balance both her work and personal life.
Support isn’t only coming from her direct team; she says that even Shamrock leadership has her back, and is always there to help her when she needs it.
THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT
When it comes to her career, Dioselin isn’t leaving anything off the table. “I’m here to keep learning. If there’s an open opportunity, I’ll take it,” she shares.
We’re so happy to hear that, Dioselin. Thank you for all of your hard work!
