Food Champion

What better way to get started in the restaurant business than gaining food prep experience in the back of the house. If you’re 16 years old or older, check this out:

  • Be part of a fun team that’s more like family;
  • Learn how to prepare and store food ingredients;
  • Quickly and safely prepare tasty food that satisfies our guests; and
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

(Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, stand for long periods of time)

Service Champion

Are you energized by conversation and regular activity? Be the face of your Taco Bell, engaging regularly with restaurant guests. If you’re 16 years old or older, this position could be for you! Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests inside or at the drive-thru window;
  • Handling guest orders and transactions at the register; and
  • Assembling food and beverage orders.

Shift Leader

Continue advancing your career while gaining invaluable skills in restaurant operations and leadership. Make an impression on your team! Full- and part-time positions available. Here’s a sample of what to expect:

  • Support on-site management;
  • Learn to train, motivate and recognize team members;
  • Strengthen conflict resolution skills while resolving guest issues;
  • Monitor product inventory along with the quality and condition of equipment; and
  • Take ownership of safety and cleanliness of restaurant.

(High school diploma or GED plus one to two years of supervisory experience in food service or retail environment preferred)

Assistant General Manager (AGM)

Learn the ropes as you move up to assistant manager of a restaurant! Here, it’s more than just food prep and delivering an order. You’ll take the lead in recruiting, operations compliance and so much more, including:

  • Maintaining positive customer relations;
  • Overseeing product delivery and inventory management;
  • Training, developing and managing a dynamic team; 
  • Maintaining financial accountability; and
  • Assuring proper maintenance and repair of building and equipment.

(High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of experience in an AGM role; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, stand for long periods of time)

Restaurant General Manager (RGM)

At Shamrock, managers are the MVPs of our restaurants. No role is more critical in shaping company culture from the kitchen outward. As an RGM, make a real impact on your team and the guest experience! We’ll count on you to:

  • Take charge of day-to-day operations with proper scheduling, inventory management and maintenance checks;
  • Recruit and hire qualified candidates to join your team;
  • Train and develop team members for advancement;
  • Model positive customer relations to assure guest satisfaction;
  • Manage restaurant budget and cost controls;
  • Assure team members adhere to all policies and procedures;
  • Stay on top of performance issues; and
  • Champion recognition in the workplace.
(High school diploma or GED required plus at least one year of experience as an RGM)

Area Director

We’re always looking for passionate leaders with at least 10 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or retail environments. Strong candidates for our multi-unit positions often boast a demonstrated track record of building a deep bench of talent. Think you’ve got what it takes to oversee anywhere from two to seven restaurants while developing effective managers? Key responsibilities include:

  • Directly supervising, coaching and supporting the long-term development of RGMs;
  • Being a champion of performance, safety and service standards at designated locations;
  • Guiding each location toward achieving performance targets;
  • Being a role model in taking initiative, confidence, attention to detail, strong relationship building, discipline and many other notable skills; 
  • Overseeing location-specific financial controls and reporting;
  • Helping on-site management navigate day-to-day challenges; and
  • Leading the selection, hiring, training and development of exceptional managerial hires.

(Position requires ability to travel from location to location. Associate or undergraduate degree and/or equivalent industry experience, and thorough knowledge of Taco Bell metrics a plus)
