In a sea of deserving scholarship recipients, we’re so proud of our very own Kassandra Gutierrez for her accomplishments! Kassandra has been named a 2025 Taco Bell Live Más Scholarship winner, receiving $3,000 to put toward her college education.

Champion of Studies … and Tacos!

Kassandra joined the Shamrock family last summer as a Service Champion at our Westchester, IL, Taco Bell. Originally, she thought that that would be it. Summer job, then off to college! She’d committed to playing softball for La Sierra University in Riverside, CA, and planned to study biological sciences.

Thankfully for us, that wasn’t it! While Kassandra may go to school 2,000 miles away, we’ve been fortunate enough to have her take a shift or two when she comes home to Chicago on break.

Kassandra appears to be well on her way toward putting her dreams into action. Her passions are marine life and the environment. She has a list of top priorities:

• Rescue and rehabilitate marine life
• Reduce pollution
• Regulate climate change
• Restore ocean health

Kassandra’s university encourages students to “change your world,” something she’s clearly taken to heart! Once she completes her undergrad studies, she says she hopes to secure a master’s from UCLA or UC San Diego. You go, girl!
