It’s the best (and busiest) season of all! We’ve been working hard to expand our portfolio, and we’re excited to share that in December, we added a brand new Dunkin’ in Kentwood, MI to the Shamrock family.

This isn’t our first rodeo in the West Michigan market — Kentwood marks seven locations in the area. We’re so honored to be bringing incredible coffee to even more great guests!

TOP-NOTCH TRAINING

Ali Youtz, our VP of Operations, has been at the forefront of our recent Dunkin’ expansions — our Kentwood location included. 

“We’re so early in our growth and development that I get to be so hands-on with the team,” she says of Kentwood’s hiring and training processes. Eventually, Ali will slowly phase out her involvement — but right now, she’s enjoying getting to know everyone on the new team individually. Being a part of their training means a lot to her, she adds.

The Kentwood community is incredibly excited about their new Dunkin’. The grand opening offered 100 days of free coffee to the first 100 guests, resulting in an incredible turnout. The location is one of the town’s only gathering spaces offering coffee and donuts, and the large lobby will certainly help.

Kentwood is led by Restaurant General Manager (RGM) Ted Watson. Ted was the perfect person to help open the Kentwood location — he and his wife actually used to own a coffee shop of their own. 

Since he was hired nine months ago, Ted has been working hard to ensure that Kentwood is the best it can be from the very beginning. We’re excited to see his entrepreneurial spirit thrive!
