If you’ve been keeping up with us over the past few months, you know that we’ve been rapidly expanding our Dunkin’ business into the West Michigan marketplace. So that’s why we’re especially excited to announce the newest addition to the Shamrock Company portfolio: a Dunkin’ in Northeast Grand Rapids! 

The latest jewel in our West Michigan crown sits in close proximity to both Cornerstone College and Calvin University, providing local college students with plenty of fuel for 8 a.m. classes and late-night study sessions alike.

Excitingly, our new location also resulted in adding 22 new Shamrock team members! We can’t wait to get to know them better over the coming weeks and months.

This Dunkin’ is unique in that it’s located inside a Merle Boes gas station — but the lack of a drive-thru isn’t stopping these midwestern Dunkin’ fans. A grand opening was held on March 25 and we were met with a very excited (and hungry) community! One hundred days of free coffee were given to the first 100 guests, and we gave out swag, held multiple giveaways and made a charitable donation to a local food pantry. Guests were also given a surprise appearance from our favorite mascot: Cuppie!

“West Michigan is such a great marketplace,” Ali Youtz, Shamrock’s Regional Vice President of Operations shares. “We know that we have many Dunkin fans left to serve, and some new fans that we haven’t met yet!”

Grand Rapids will welcome another Shamrock Dunkin’ later this year in the northern part of the city. Stay tuned!
