Back in 2023, we made it our goal to reach a total of 50 restaurants under the Shamrock Company umbrella by the end of 2026. Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve reached that milestone an entire year early — thanks to the opening of our most recent Taco Bell!

LEMONT WAS MEANT TO BE

We had the opportunity to speak with our President & CEO, Dan McGue, about this incredible achievement. He shares that the operations team has been working hard to get a number of new restaurants open — and since a lot of the construction schedules overlapped, it was uncertain which location would officially be the 50th.

In the end, according to Dan, the cards “just fell where they fell” — which ended up being in Lemont, IL! Set on the banks of the Des Plaines River, Lemont is a quaint village that’s just southwest of Chicago, making it a perfectly picturesque place for this very special store.

“We’re really happy to celebrate this opening and share it with the community here,” Dan says of our newest location. 

NOT LUCK, JUST HARD WORK

Of course, this incredible achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of so many Shamrock team members. Dan shares that having a strong, focused team is what has made Shamrock’s rapid growth possible. 

“Honestly, I am so proud of the team for all of their hard work,” he shares. “They have been so focused on bringing this to life … it’s incredible to do it as a group.”

SO, WHEN’S THE 51st?

Our rapid growth won’t be stopping anytime soon! Dan shares that we have more stores to open before the end of the year, and that next year will also bring an abundance of growth, too: the team already has big plans for new locations throughout 2026.

“We’re going to continue growing, looking for great people and putting them in positions to be successful,” Dan says.
