Shamrock Picnics: Ridin’ High on Fun, Family & Future Forecasts

Categories:

Despite gloomy weather and a tornado warning in Illinois, our second year of Shamrock Company picnics proved to be another fun one for the books. A huge shoutout to everyone who braved the storms to make these events turn out right as rain!

“When the company makes it possible, it’s really nice to have a day to just hang out with everybody.”

– Karen Reiners, Taco Bell GM

Every year, we bring together all of our Dunkin’ and Taco Bell General Managers (GMs) and above, along with their families, to our favorite amusement parks. This year’s theme was to “ride for the brand” – turns out some of us had to also ride out the weather!

“I don’t get to say it enough, how thankful I am to have such a hardworking team put on their work boots every single day and bring their best selves to work,” Shamrock President and CEO Dan McGue shared at one of the gatherings.

Michigan restaurant leaders and their families were invited to spend their special day at Michigan Adventure in Muskegon, MI. GMs and above from Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana spent a day with us at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL.

“It speaks a lot about the camaraderie, how they feel about family,” says Dunkin’ GM Kristy Klein, who was a guest at Six Flags. “They want people to come together and have fun, and enjoy their family.”

“This is about creating memories with each other outside of work.” -Dan McGue, President & CEO
