Bailey Mueller is a newbie around here. After hiring a mentor of his, we recruited Bailey, too! He relocated from Florida and joined Shamrock Company in February as the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) of our Johnson Creek, WI, Taco Bell.
Florida to Wisconsin is a big move. “Pretty life changing,” Bailey says about it. “Especially for my wife.” Bailey’s wife grew up in Florida.
Good news is, Bailey says he enjoys his work more than ever before!
“It’s a great company to work for.” -Bailey Mueller, RGM
Leading the Way
While Bailey is new to Shamrock, he’s no stranger to our famous taco brand. He’s been working for Taco Bell since he was 16. Like many of our ambitious hires, he’s been climbing the career ladder ever since. Interestingly enough, he shares that he declined on the opportunity to become a general manager with his previous franchisee employer.
When asked why he felt ready for the role at Shamrock, he quickly elaborates on the support system here.
“They’re always listening, trying to make your life better,” he says of Shamrock leadership. “They provide all the support without expecting anything in return.”
Bailey noticed right away that our company culture is built on a genuine care for our people. And that’s important because he cares about the people he oversees, too. He shares about a defining moment in his journey to leadership, distinctly recalling that when he was a Shift Lead at 18, he really started to shift his focus on the people around him.
“At the end of the day, I can’t achieve what I want to achieve without them,” he admits.
Location, Location, Location!
The area where our Johnson Creek Taco Bell is located is still somewhat undeveloped, even though the restaurant has a been around for a number of years. Shamrock acquired it back in 2023.
Bailey comes to us fired up about his team’s most recent sales numbers — Johnson Creek brought in $28,000 the week before our interview! According to him, that’s $10,000 more than what the team was pulling in when he first arrived.
“I love my team,” he says. “We’ve all come a long way since I got here. We’re finally getting into the rhythm.”
Bailey is the kind of leader who embodies our mission to put people in a position to succeed. He strives to give his team the tools they need to accomplish their goals. “Shamrock show’s it’s possible,” he says.
