Lorena “Lolo” Lauriano has worked at the Wheaton Taco Bell for 24 years! Naturally, we had to sit down with her to learn the secret to such impressive career longevity. She started in the kitchen preparing food, and has since worked her way up to General Manager.

When asked what has kept her with the job for so long, Lorena says, “I like my work. The atmosphere is great. All of the people that work for me are great people.”

In addition to the great atmosphere and great people, Lorena says she also gets a lot of support from her manager at Taco Bell. “She always helps me with anything I need,” she shares.

Lorena has a 45-minute commute to work, but doesn’t mind. “I don’t care. I like being here,” she says.

Perhaps one of the biggest opportunities made possible by Lorena’s job at Taco Bell is the chance to purchase her own home six months ago. “Thanks to this company, I was able to buy a house,” Lorena says.

As for the future, Lorena has no plans to leave anytime soon. “I’m going to keep working for this company as long as I can,” she says. The traditional 25-year anniversary gift is silver, but in this case, maybe it should be a Crunch Wrap — Lorena’s favorite!
