Quick service isn’t anything new for Faith Mull, but managing a Dunkin’ is! She’s the new General Manager (GM) of our Jenison, MI location, a role she was promoted to as one of her mentors – Olevia Weaver, now Dunkin’ Area Director – moved up the career ladder, too.
“Growing with [Olevia] has been nice,” Faith remarks. She says having a supervisor who’s supportive and knows the inner workings of her Dunkin’ location has been incredibly helpful.
As a newbie to our company, we were interested in hearing more about Faith’s journey so we caught up with her at our annual picnic. She was excited to be there!
“I like … the community of it,” she says of Shamrock’s culture. “I think it feels more close-knit.”
Faith says she appreciates the chance to network within the company and have fun (and also enjoy a day off from work). Having fun and driving culture are key to this business, so we’re happy to see our core values resonate!
Learning While Doing
Faith has always liked working with people. In fact, she’s finishing up her degree in hospitality management at nearby Grand Valley State University.

Faith joined Shamrock Company from another well-known sandwich chain where she’d worked since she was 16 and moved up through the ranks to Shift Leader and Assistant General Manager (AGM).
Faith enjoyed her previous job, she says, but the hours weren’t great for a student and it lacked opportunities for advancement.
“My whole point [was] trying to find a company that I want to stay with,” she says. “This feels a lot healthier for me.”
Shamrock Dunkin’ has proven a better fit for Faith, even though she admits she’s working similar hours. The difference, she says, is the amount of support she’s found at Shamrock.
“I’m still learning as I’m going … day to day,” Faith confesses.
But that’s where our supportive culture comes in! Olevia and Regional Vice President of Operations Ali Youtz have been with Faith every step of the way from hire to onboarding to putting everything she’s learned into play.

“If you have issues … someone’s going to always try to help you,” she shares, mentioning Ali has been on site regularly.
Putting Faith in Our Future
Faith says she’s content in her new role and knows she needs to master the GM position before moving up again.
“I’m honestly just so grateful for everyone,” she says. “I mean, having this experience is really different for me, but it’s fun to learn and have these opportunities.”
And as long as Shamrock has opportunities to learn and grow, she plans to make the most of it!
Just for fun, we ask Faith if she’d ever move over to the Taco Bell side of our business. She immediately thinks of late-night Taco Bell runs.
“I don’t know about that!” she retorts. “I like my coffee … I’d rather serve in the morning.”
Faith is most excited to be a part of new product rollouts, and digs the seasoned bacon items and chai lattes. As we head into fall, she highly recommends Dunkin’s Pumpkin Spice Latte.
“It’s a staple,” she says. “It’s my favorite part of the year.”
Since we’re running on Dunkin’ all year-round, we’re happy to have Faith in place to lead our Jenison team.
